  1. All of the ingredients are adjustable to taste.
  2. Soak a ½ cup of pecans in the marinade and coffee to get a richer hickory taste before you sprinkle it over the prebought coffee cake.
  3. Heat in oven at 450 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Take out of the oven and punch holes in the cake.
  5. Pour glaze over prebaked coffee cake.
