Bryan McLarty is the proprietor, head cook and dishwasher of Big Fish BBQ. Bryan is based out of Southlake, TX. He travels to BBQ competitions alone or with his yellow lab “Biscuit.” While Bryan does BBQ competitively, he is also involved in many charity events. BigFish BBQ organizes 2 “Soldier-Q” events a year. Bryan cooks for soldiers and their families upon returning to the states from active duty. Bryan is also on the Board of Directors of Camp Craig Allen, a charity that dedicates itself to physically disabled children and adults in North Texas. Bryan is a founding member of Operation BBQ Relief and cooked for over 70,000 victims, volunteers, responders and law enforcement personnel in the after math of the tornadoes that devastated Joplin, MO in 2011.
