Mummy Dogs and a Buffalo Chicken Cheese Pumpkin for Halloween
By now you should have your costume and a pile of candy ready for trick-or-treaters. Halloween is this Friday!
Whether you’re throwing a Halloween party or trick-or-treating with the kids, you’re going to need to get everyone in the spirit! And Halloween-themed dishes are a fool-proof way to do that!
One simple Halloween dish that the kids absolutely love is the Jack O’ Lantern cheese burger
! Just carve a Jack O’ Lantern or other spooky face in a slice of cheese and place on top of the hamburger patty. It’s super easy and very festive!
Here are a couple other Halloween-themed recipes that are great for parties, or pre-trick-or-treat snacking!
12 hot dogs
1 tbsp. of Mayonnaise
1 can Crescent Rolls
1 bottle of regular yellow mustard
1 bottle of Moore's Honey BBQ Sauce
Buffalo Chicken Cheese Pumpkin
Preheat oven to 375˚
Roll out Crescent Rolls on wax paper
Slice one inch strips
Start at the top of hot dog, leaving a thumbs length for the head, and wrapping the rest of the way down the hot dog
Place on greased baking sheet
Bake 10-12 minutes
When done and cooled, add Mayonnaise for eyes using toothpick
For dipping sauce, mix equal portions of yellow mustard and Moore's Honey BBQ Sauce in a bowl, for more kick use more Moore's Honey BBQ Sauce than mustard.
1 cup cooked chicken Marinated in Moore's Original Marinade, shredded
8 oz. cream cheese
1 packet ranch salad dressing mix
1 tbsp. jalapeño peppers minced
2 tbsp. Moore's Buffalo Wing Sauce
1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded), Can substitute with 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 green pepper
1 bag Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
Combine all ingredients except cheddar cheese (or nuts). Mix well.
Form into a ball and roll in the cheddar cheese (or nuts) to coat.
Wrap in plastic wrap and chill at least one hour before serving.
Cut out top of green pepper and place on the top of the cheese ball to make stem of pumpkin
Surround ball with Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
